Your Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to Your Astrological Sign

The return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm within the community. From the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's launch, to trainers forming firm views on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that highlight their personalities, one thought naturally: How can link this with astrology? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram much more similar to Super Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and benefit from a powerful partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

The Bull – Super Heracross

Similar to a devoted Bull, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its standard and Mega form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the creature and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unabashed love of snacks. Several past official descriptions mention their fondness for sweet sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it all, which is pure Taurus energy.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, offering an constant fountain of gossip to those who wish to hear. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham captivating an whole open area with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its ability to predict an enemy’s next moves, which sounds very like a socially-savvy Twins.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Crab is commonly regarded as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a passionate sign known for often getting absorbed in their feelings. According to the official info, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous amount of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also recognized for its ability to make a storm cloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s rain on their good time.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Oh, did you think I was going to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the fact that it would be far too obvious, Leo is clearly Super Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being too glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Players were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the identical energy a Lion brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a performance, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Virgo is perfectly encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is strongly reflected across this creature's whole lineage, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s just like the emoji a Maiden sends to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a strategy.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. However, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through sheer hatred and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the ability to predict disasters in advance? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. The thing is, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to get in on the beginning of the Mega trend.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Detached element Aquarius is arguably the non-flame sign that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime. Super Chandelure's dual Spirit/Flame typing fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting presence is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
